Shopping

Shopping is mostly for the Veronesi, and upscale clothing and accessories boutiques line the two most fashionable shopping streets, Via Mazzini (connecting the Arena and the Piazza delle Erbe) and Via Cappello. There are also Corso Borsari and Corso Sant'Anastasia to check out (heading west and east, respectively, out of the Piazza delle Erbe), the latter having a concentration of interesting antiques stores.

Dining

As a city with a proud culinary tradition, Verona abounds in number of friendly restaurants serving authentic food. The primary areas to hunt for eateries are the Via Mazzini, Piazza dei Signori, Via Verona, Via Pellicciai, Piazza Brà and Piazza delle Erbe.

Nightlife

Nightlife in Verona has longer opening hours and are full of energy compared to Venice's late shutdown norm. In general, the center of the city as well as Via Mazzini, Piazza Erbe, and Piazza delle Poste are the great places to start with. Some of the names you may want to check out are Alter Ego Club on Via Torricelle, Excalibur on Stradone Provolo, El Tropico Latino on Via Pellicciai, as well as Campus on Via XX Settembre near the Piazza delle Erbe.
